Digital Marketer & SEO - Full-Time – Work Remotely

This is a full-time opportunity for a digital marketer and SEO expert. Must be available to work remotely within the US Central Standard time zone.

The successful candidate will be joining a marketing firm with a diverse book of clients. You will need to apply principles of marketing, social media, SEO, email marketing, PPC and re-marketing campaigns, content development and have a basic understanding of keyword research, link building, various search engines and the buyer’s journey to improve the development of all marketing projects.

 

Required:

  • Must be an independent, motivated self-starter with an exceptional eye for detail
  • Problem solving abilities with simple, creative ideas and great communication and people skills
  • Ability to work full-time (40+ hrs) with high-speed Internet, cell phone, necessary software, and a reliable computer
  • Must have your own computer with about 1TB of free hard drive space
  • Must have a file backup system such as Time Machine or Crash Plan Pro
  • Must be able to work in DropBox and Google Drive
  • Highly organized and able to execute on creative briefings on-time
  • Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures

 

The Work:

A digital marketing and SEO professional will be responsible for developing and implementing various creative strategies within a client’s budget that will reach or exceed their goals. You will be utilizing social media channels, blogging platforms, competitor analysis, analytics, email marketing, keyword research, search engine optimization, link building, Google platforms, among other things. You will construct various online promotions and properly launch them to get our client’s message out to their target audience, as well as perform consumer research to discover other ways of reaching current and new customers via the Internet.

 

Salary:

$35,000-$45,000

 

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • 2+ years of real world digital marketing and SEO experience
  • Demonstrable experience with SEO, SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and convert
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages, web pages, user funnels, and goal setups
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, organic SEO, paid advertising and measurement
  • Comprehensive search engine algorithm, meta tags, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and major social media platforms experience
  • Knowledge of hashtags, link building, and social sharing
  • Experience developing various types of premium content and launching articles
  • Experience with informational, eCommerce, and blog site optimization and conversion tracking
  • Experience in WordPress blog posting and Volusion product page SEO
  • Knowledge on how to fix Google penalties and use Webmaster tools
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, Hootsuite, Yext, SEM Rush, and HubSpot a plus
  • Experience with various tracking softwares a plus

You will need to apply principles of front-end and back-end web programming, understanding of web development, website maintenance, eCommerce systems, databases, content management systems and code debugging.

This is a full-time opportunity for a remote copywriter who must work within our time zone, which is US Central Standard Time. 

You will be writing for our marketing company, as well as our diverse book of clients. Our clients are mostly business-to-business (B2B), but we also work with industries including financial, insurance and others.

Copywriters will need to apply principles of creative copywriting and have a basic understanding of search engine optimization and content marketing to improve the development of all online and print projects.

 

Required:

  • Must be an independent, motivated, self-starter with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Must be fluent in English. Bi- or multi-lingual is a plus, but not necessary.
